25th March 2007 - Stuart is lucky mascot!

Young Stuart Crossan of Campbeltown lived every young Scotland football supporter's dream when he led the national team out in their European Championship fixture against Georgia at Hampden Park yesterday.

Stuart, a primary seven pupil at Dalintober School, won the competition to mascot the national team in the News of the World after his father, Arthur, entered Stuart's name six times.

Stuart and Arthur are Scotland diehards and travel to every Scotland home game with the Campbeltown Tartan Army.  However, yesterday they received the VIP treatment - Stuart along with his father, mum Anne, and cousin Andrew all received VIP treatment courtesy of the SFA and News of the World.

Below you will see a selection of photos taken by Stuart's dad followed by photos taken by the Campbeltown Tartan Army.

To cap Stuart's day off his heroes went onto record a vital 2-1 win to top group B.
