26th February 2007 - Ghost comes to town

Ghost opens to the public on Monday 9th April and runs daily until Saturday 14th April 2007 (11am - 5pm).The performance starts and finishes at Campbeltown Library, Aqualibrium

Ghost is a 50 minute installation performance that invites the audience to experience a journey through streets and spaces littered with intriguing echoes of lives and events, through a landscape which is at once familiar and hauntingly strange.

Written by award-winning playwright Judith Adams and directed by Symon MacIntyre (short listed for the 2002 Creative Scotland Award), Ghost is a darkly beautiful tale, told through a blend of narration, music, three-dimensional soundscape and installation art.

Ghost comes to Campbeltown after two successful runs in Edinburgh in 2006 ( Leith Festival and The Fringe) and performances in Buckie.

Unseen but all around - Empty rooms littered with memories, intriguing echoes, past events and lives - A poetic thriller

A gripping drama set in a mythical, futuristic landscape. Arrive at the start point, slip on your headphones and enter the unsettling world of ‘The Maker’. 

Inspired by the Daedalus myth, Ghost takes you on a journey littered with intriguing echoes of lives and events, through a landscape which is at once familiar and hauntingly strange. As you explore the labyrinth of streets around Leith’s atmospheric Shore area, the mystery gradually unfolds around you as it builds inexorably to its thrilling denouement. What you discover may not be what you expect…..
