Argyll and Bute Council is
to carry out consultations in Campbeltown and Dunoon to seek
people’s views about outdoor access and transport issues.
The consultation on outdoor access will help to identify a
core path plan for the area which will detail those paths that
meet the outdoor access needs of both local people and
visitors and help to integrate access with land management and
other land uses.
The draft of the new Local
Transport Strategy will outline the Council’s policies, plans
and projects for transport in the area over the next three
years.
The consultations will
take place in the Victoria Hall, Campbeltown, on Wednesday
14th February from 11.30am until 7.30pm, and in the Queen’s
Hall, Dunoon, on Thursday 15th February from 11.30pm until
7.30pm.
Both events are open for
people to drop-in and discuss their views with the project
teams.
Further information on
both consultations can be found on the Council’s website,
