The first
weekend of February sees a mini music festival come to town
when two separately organised events fall on the same weekend.
Friday 2nd February 2007 sees
tribute band The Complete Stone Roses play in the Victoria
Hall along with three local bands - Catch 22, The Twisted
Melons and Violent Echo. Tickets are £15 each plus
booking fee and can be purchased at

or at Whisky Macs or AP Taylors in Campbeltown.
This promises to be an excellent value for money night with
doors opening at 7.30pm and closing at 2am.
The

following evening, Saturday 3rd February 2007, in the Argyll Hotel, Campbeltown,
will see the return of the ever popular Hugh Trowsers Band.
The event
is being organised by Argyll FM with all proceeds from the
evening going to the local radio station which is entirely run
by volunteers. The evening
has kindly been sponsored by local business D McNair and Son
and everyone at the radio station would like to thank Alan
Shaw for this support.
