25th January 2007 - Mini Music Festival comes to the town and we have 2 pairs to tickets to be won!

The first weekend of February sees a mini music festival come to town when two separately organised events fall on the same weekend.

Friday 2nd February 2007 sees tribute band The Complete Stone Roses play in the Victoria Hall along with three local bands - Catch 22, The Twisted Melons and Violent Echo.  Tickets are £15 each plus booking fee and can be purchased at www.ticketweb.co.uk or at Whisky Macs or AP Taylors in Campbeltown.  This promises to be an excellent value for money night with doors opening at 7.30pm and closing at 2am.

The Complete Stone Roses are now one of the UK’s most well-known, most seen and most successful tribute bands. Selling out venues across the UK and Ireland regularly, they have helped to carry on the music of one of the UK’s most influential bands

The following evening, Saturday 3rd February 2007, in the Argyll Hotel, Campbeltown, will see the return of the ever popular Hugh Trowsers Band.

The event is being organised by Argyll FM with all proceeds from the evening going to the local radio station which is entirely run by volunteers.  The evening has kindly been sponsored by local business D McNair and Son and everyone at the radio station would like to thank Alan Shaw for this support.

Doors open at 8pm and those wishing to ensure a seat should come early!  Don't worry there will be a dance area for all you movers!

The Hugh Trowsers Band return to Campbeltown to play at the Argyll Hotel, Campbeltown.

The Hugh Trowsers band has absorbed the best of the 70s 80s & 90s and have forged themselves a modern niche.
